Alcatel 1X was released in the recently concluded MWC event. The phone would come with the 18:9 aspect ratio. The company has announced a couple days ago that it will now be selling the phone in India, for which further details will be revealed and confirmed soon.

Alcatel 1X will be running on Android 8.1 Oreo, which will be Go edition by Android. This is because of making use of the modest hardware installed in the phone. The phone will come with 5.3-inch display with 960 x 480 pixels resolution. It will be powered by MediaTek MT6739 octa-core A53 SoC along with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The storage will be further expandable through microSD card slot.

Another variant of the phone will come with 2GB RAM. The phone will also have 13MP camera on the rear. Alcatel has not confirmed yet that which variant will come to India. Both the versions will however also have 8MP selfie cameras.
