Qualcomm, the World’s largest manufacturer and seller of Mobile Chipset, has announced mid-tiers and low-end in its mobile processor line-up. The new processors 616, 412 and 212 will be available for sale later this year or early 2016.There has been no word on Chipset 820, though all the chipset are manufactured on 28nm processor.

The main thing that differentiates them is the higher clock speed. The 616 comes with two quad-core Cortex-A53 clusters, clocked at 1.7 Ghz and 1.2 Ghz respectively, onestep up from 1 Ghz on the low-power chip.The next in line is the Snapdragon 412, which sees a step up from 1.2 Ghz (SD 410) to 1.4 Ghz. The 64-bit chip has Adreno 306 GPU. Further it supports Full HD videos and 1080p displays, and features X5 LTE for up to Cat 4 Speeds. Both processor also supports Fluence HD audio and QuickCharging 1.0 and 2.0, as well.

The last low-end is the new Snapdragon 212 processor, which too comes with X5 LTE this time. It will come with Adreno 304 GPU. It will support 8 MP cameras and finally you can capture and view Full HD videos. It also supports QuickCharge 2.0 for up to 75 percent faster charging and Fluence HD audio.

You can expect the processors to launch later this year or in early 2016. With the aforementioned specs this will definitely add something more meaningful to mid-tiers and low-end category.
