Apple has released iOS 11.2.5 update for devices that are compatible with it. The total weight of this OTA update is 172.9MB. This size is actually for iPhone 8 Plus device, and it will vary for other Apple devices depending upon the specs.
The most important modification in this update is the addition of HomePod support. The user will be able to order the HomePod from this week’s Friday and the shipments will begin from 9th February.
This update will also be helpful for users in setting up and automatically transferring the Apple Music, Siri, Apple ID, and even the Wi-Fi settings to the new HomePod.
Another main feature is the ability of Siri to read out the news for users. The users will also even be able to ask Siri about reading the news in different categories, e.g. music, sports and/or business. This feature is specifically helpful for HomePod users, but it will not be much useful with the iPhone.
Other than that, the new update will also bring in some performance improvements as well as bug fixes.
