Google for the longest time encouraged users to rank high quality apps in the Play Store but the formula didn’t work much so the company has decided to punish poorly made apps that aren’t up to the standard mark. Apple on the other hand has a tighter policy for the apps / games to be made available at the App Store, the attitude Google Play Store is missing.

The relaxed policy standards let many developers to post low quality games / apps. Common issues like app freezing, crashing in the middle of nowhere, and some of the apps drain mobile battery as a monster.

At Google IO, the commitment by the company had been affirmed to improve the Android user experience and the device performance key measures. Speed, security, and stability are Google focus for developers and for the end users. Developers could be able to see scores of their apps, render time and the battery being consumed.
