An official confirmation from Samsung has come that it will release the refurbished Samsung Note 7 in the South Korean market first; however certification from the South Korean agencies is yet to be done. The certification is needed from 2 South Korean agencies, for which Samsung yet has to apply. The device would be released into the market after seeking permission from Korean Agency for Technology and Standards as well as the National Radio Research Agency.
“If Samsung makes such a request, we plan to examine and verify the safety of the device by putting users’ safety as the top priority.” It was said by the representative from National Radio Research Agency.
It could prove to be a stumbling roadblock for the company considering the fact that Samsung original Galaxy Note 7 has battery and more like dire issues.
To limit the environmental impact, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 had disposed millions of old Samsung Note 7 devices, also the ones in the storage and released the revamped version.
