Apple has been very consistent when it comes to entering Indian market. The company is doing all it can to cover a major milestone in a market which has purchase capacity $150 or less on average for smartphone market.
After getting concession in taxes and other trade affairs by India, an iPhone Assembly line is being built on South side of Bangalore. The next news is Apple has revived the iPhone 6 in India. This version was discontinued once the iPhone 7 released last year.
CNET reportedly shows the iPhone revived on Amazon Monday. The handset has a retail price of INR. 30000 ($450) with Space Gray color version.
This is a much unexpected price cut from the newer version iPhone 6s which is $750 in the South Asian region.
However, this price range is still far expensive than $150, the average purchase by India consumer.
