The scheduled official launch of Nokia N1 has been made yesterday. First an official announcement of the handset was made in November now the company arranged an event in Beijing launching the tablet at $260. Initially without taxes the cost was $249 now it is CNY 1,599 which makes roughly $257. The Nokia N1 comes with a 7.9-inch 2,04 8×1, 536 pixel touchscreen display. It runs on an Intel Atom Z 3580 chipset with a 2.3 GHz quad-core CPU, 2 GB of
RAM, and 32 GB of storage. It has an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front snapper. It is powered by 5,300 mAh battery on board. N1 runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Nokia’s Z Launcher on top.
With its powerful chipset, the tablet has exceeded the AnTuTu CPU efficiency and image processing benchmarks. According to the benchmark’s database, the N1 has scored 45,121 in the CPU test and is beating the iPad Mini 3’s score of 28,446. The N1 has also topped the iPad Mini 3 with 12,623 to 10,102 points in image processing test.
The Tablet is expected to launch in Europe in February.
