Pre-orders of HTC One A9 started in US right after the announcement but the retailers of UK has recently opened the device for pre-orders. It appears to be quite expensive in UK as compared to US market. The official suggested sales price was quoted at the launch as being £429.99 sans SIM, and the one next cheapest is £20 more than that.

You can now pre-order HTC A9 in UK, priced more than expected.

If you want to pre-order SIM-free A9 in UK, you can buy one at Expansys with a price tag of £479.99, at Carphone Warehouse for £469.99, and at Unlocked Mobiles for £449.99. For now the first two retailers are offering model with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage version while Unlocked Mobiles has listed the 3GB of RAM and 32GB version. Irrespective of the company, you will only get grey and silver hues for the One A9.

The shipments for A9 selling at Unlocked Mobiles will begin from November 1, 2015. The Carphone Warehouse has promised to deliver the product by November 6.

The HTC One A9 packs 5-inch 1080p AMOLED touchscreen. Further, it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 SoC. Camera-wise, it has a 13 MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, and a 4 MP front snapper. The device gets its power from 2,150mAh battery. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
