An event was held today by Xiaomi in India in which the Chinese mobile phone manufacturing company has released two new devices, i.e. Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite. Both of these smartphones seem to belong to a different series; however, both of them look quite familiar. One view is that both of these phones are basically the global editions of already released Redmi Note 5A and Redmi Note 5A Prime, which were released a couple months ago for Chinese market.
Talking about the basic Redmi Y1 specs, the phone will have 5.5-inch LCD display with full HD resolution, Snapdragon 435 SoC, and two memory options, i.e. 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, or 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Its global price will be $170.
On the other hand, Redmi Y1 Lite specs will mainly include 5.5-inch LCD display with 720p resolution, Snapdragon 425 SoC, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Its global price will be $110.
