Vivo new V5 is now official and as marketed it is not perfect mid-ranged handset. The handset deploys much impressing 20MP camera powered by a bit modest Snapdragon 652.

The official launch of Vivo reveals 20MP camera with Sony IMX376 when compared to digital cameras handling of low light conditions, it is efficient. The sensors are pretty handsome with 1/2.78 and 5P lens for the portrait shorts. It has also beautifying software to enhance your selfie experience.

Display-wise, Vivo V5 5.5-inch screen with 2.5D corning gorilla glass and HD (720p) resolution.

Hardware-wise, the Vivo V5 runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor. Inside is the 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory (expandable via microSD).

Vivo V5 will soon be selling in some Asian countries like Vietnam, Philippine, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar and Thailand. V5 will set you back for $260.

The company has also collaborated with Music Chip Maker to include the new Hi-Fi chip AK4376 on the V5. This enhances users’ music experience and producing and modifying the music piece.
