Chrome for Android or the Google App, user would get an idea in the form of a preview video before actually playing it. Watching a video eats up few minutes so a user could decide by looking into the video preview either he wants to play it or not.

Google announced this search feature on Friday for its mobile users either the ones using the Google Android app or the ones on Android OS using Chrome browser.

If the user search from an app or Chrome, results being shown in the video section won’t be with static thumbnail images but with a little snippet of the video clip.

Google would roll out the change on Friday and that the new feature of videos previews in Google search results would be available readily from the next week.

Auto play videos bother you? Simply turn off the feature from the settings and use the snippets for watching.
