The first ever mobile phone in the history was released in 1973. However, at that time, the mobile phone did not yet go commercial and the common people did not have access to it. Most of the mobile phones were used for special purposes. However with the passage of time, the mobile phones were evolved, and with the likes of Apple iPhone to Nokia 3310, mobile phones received huge appreciation and with the passage of time, everyone started using mobile phone.

In different periods, different mobile phones dominated the market and their sales skyrocketed worldwide. I have personally developed a list of top 20 mobile phones that were historically best-selling and each of which has developed a nostalgic value in everyone’s mind. I have categorized each phone vis-à-vis its total number of units sold and release date. The list geos as follows.
