
In May of last year, Apple and Nokia got settled over a fight but the value for the settlement wasn’t disclosed or we assume wasn’t discussed. Deal terms weren’t revealed in the media but later Nokia made it clear that it has provided with $2 billion of upfront cash payment.
Lawsuit filed last year when Nokia blamed Apple of acquiring Nokia’s patents and from Alcatel-Lucent and NSN. Later two companies belong to Nokia and so do their portfolios. Nokia is the longstanding infringement since the release of iPhone 3GS as Apple company laid base from Nokia’s patents. The given patents are linked with video coding, display, UI, chipsets, antenna, and software.
Initially Apple replaced all of the Withings products from its stores. The Withings is Nokia’s division but these companies reached to consensus and now the Withing products are available on Apple stores.

Not just a patent license deal signed by both companies but they moved a step forward on collaboration forefronts in research and development; hence Nokia’s digital health, and IP routing would improve.
