This Smartphone App will Feed the Hungry in India!

According to an estimate, the most number of people going hungry on daily basis reside in India. However, in an attempt to feed the hungry in the country, a smartphone app has been launched, which, according to founder, Ankit Kawatra, of a non-profit organization namely ‘Feeding India’ will help poor deal with their hunger problem.

According to Kawatra, a lot of food was getting wasted in restaurants and feasts, which could have been helpful in feeding the poor across the country.

His organization has active already in providing free food to poor people through donation centers and volunteers.

The new step by this organization will definitely make the supply chain even more effective, as common people would also be able to contribute towards daily food being distributed among the poor.

Surely, the worth and potential of smartphone could not be tapped better than this. The world will definitely see more of such positive uses of apps and programs than just games and entertainment.
