  MPC Team

During his talk show in a private channel, Rauf Klasra, the famous journalist, revealed a harsh fact about the telecommunication companies of Pakistan about how they are committing a fraud against the Pakistani people at the moment. He revealed that FBR is also a partner in this fraud. Everyone in the country is currently using innovative techniques to deceive the public.

He further said that after amassing a lot of money, these people will launder it to the foreign countries and would later get the nationalities of same countries. Klasra further revealed that he was present in the Senate’s Finance Committee session in which FBR stated that they don’t have a proper system to evaluate which company is charging how much tax.

He claims to have been a victim himself of one of the telecommunication companies, as he had to pay Rs. 1,000 for an internet package subscription. He said that once the internet package expired, he used to get informed by SMS that the package had ended, but now this message is not received anymore and he has to pay additional Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 2,500 until he realized that the actual subscribed internet package had expired. He further alleged that other telecommunication companies are also doing the same. People are told that they are being offered 4G services, while it is not even 1G internet speed, which is being offered to the people, he lamented.

Rauf further claimed that in the name of 4G services, telecommunication companies are committed a heinous fraud. These companies never allow the media to run any negative news against them. He said that we are being deceived on daily basis, and our innocent people’s money is being taken away. He said that whenever these companies have been caught for their negligence; crimes as well as tax evasion, then they will simply bribe the news agencies for not disclosing anything against them.
