Sony has recently announced that it will start selling Sony Xperia X Compact in the U.S. from 25 September 2016. The handset will set you back for $499.99; while the Xperia XZ will launch on 2nd October 2016 with higher price at $699.99. The phones, will be compatible GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile. Amazon, Best Buy and other stores will sell the handset.
Spec-wise Sony Xperia XZ comes with Gorilla Glass 4 protecting 5.2-inch screen assembled internally by pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920. The device runs on a Snapdragon 820 SoC under the hood, coupled with quad-core 2.15GHz CPU. The graphic department is handled by Adreno 530 GPU. Inside is the 3GB RAM paired with 32GB of internal memory. The device is more Selfie centric with 13MP wide angle resolution on board, while a 2900mAh juicer that runs the handset. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed.
The Xperia X Compact is similar to Xperia XZ, but everything is stuffed in a more compact body. It has 4.6-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1280. Powers the handset is Snapdragon 650 chipset running on hexa-core 1.8GHz CPU with Adreno 510 GPU for graphics. A 2700mAh battery is shipped to give life to your handset.
Both handsets sport IP68 certification which means dust and waterproofing is on board.
