We have previously discussed the next in line Xperia that belongs to X family and are likely to reveal at IFA Berlin. A tweet recently posted mentions Xperia X Compact and XR to launch at September 24th. The tweet states that company will launch Style covers and “they’re not alone.” That last comment points to towards handset launch at the event.

The Sony website has already listed the compact coming in flagship design and smaller body. The X compact will carry 4.6-inch screen and runs Snapdragon 820 chipset is under the hood, equipped with a quad-core CPU and the Adreno 530 GPU. Camera-wise, it has whopping 23MP rear snapper and 13MP Selfie camera. A 2700mAh battery will power the device and Type-C port will be used to connect charger.

The Sony Xperia XR is bigger with 5.2-inch curved 2.5D glass display and a Type-C port. It will have the same specs as X Compact. Sony’s website mentions that things will not be blurr with these handset indicating much work has been done on OIS feature. We will get to know more about the launch once the IFA kicks off.
