The J-series is new to Samsung’s recent plan of portfolio expansion. It has the same single letter naming convention. Up till now we have learned about just one family member of J i.e. J1 but soon a whole set is due to emerge in the lineup. A few trademark have shown more upgraded hardware in new squad whose members name J3, J5 and J7 are recently unveiled.New rumors show leaked specs of two handsets of the series with model number SM-J500F; J5 and SM-J700F; J7. The new J5 will come with 5.0-inch HD LCD display and will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of storage expandable via microSD slot. It is powered by a 2600mAh battery. The body weighs 149g and is 8.5mm thick.The Galaxy J7 has a 5.5-inch HD LCD screen. The processor will be an octa-core Marvel PXA1936 chip, humming at either 1.2 GHz or 1.5 GHz.RAM will be 1.5GB and for ROM you have choice between 4GB and 8GB for storage. It is powered by 3000mAh and weighs170g. It is also slimmer with 7.9mm profile.Camera wise, both devices offer 13MP rear camera and 5MP selfie-snapper. It is expected to be LTE-enabled and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.
