If we safely assume Galaxy S6 line up and Note5 are included in the update.

Samsung users will start receiving January Security update

The update will also come with patches as there are several technical problems. This has been specially confirmed by both Google and South Korean company. The Samsung still provided info on several publicly known issues on soft side but did not mention the few just citing it as security update.
