Samsung always displays few devices on every shelf, top-to-bottom. Recently it has re-activated another series after two years that is the XCover Series. This is an outdoor targeted smartphone just like the two most recent offerings, Galaxy S5 Active and Galaxy S4 Active. The most affordable XCovers series hasn’t seen an update for two consecutive years until now the XCover 2 found a successor being prepared i.e. Samsung Galaxy XCover 3.

The device carries a models number SM-G388F. Some specs have been revealed by GFX Bench entry. Samsung Galaxy XCover 3 will come with 4.8-inch screen of 800x480px resolution and 8GB of storage. Imaging department is covered by a 5MP main shooter as well as a 2MP selfie camera. It will run Android 4.4 KitKat. The pricing and availability is yet not known.
