Samsung has officially announced the larger variant of Galaxy Tab A 7.0 (2016) dubbed Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) version. It comes with a 10.1-inch display with pixel resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. It runs on an octa-core processor (most likely an Exynos 7870), with CPU clocked at 1.6 GHz. It has 2GB RAM, and 16 GB native storage expandable via microSD.
The Galaxy Tab A measures 155.3 x 254.2 x 8.2 mm, and weighs 525 grams. It is powered by a whopping 7300mAh battery inside. Camera-wise, it has an 8 MP rear camera with 2 MP front snapper. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) driven Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is made official in Germany. The tablet will be released starting from June. Galaxy Tab 10.1 will launch in black and white color options. The customers will cost you €289 for the Wi-Fi-only variant, and €349 for the LTE version. For US market, there is no announcement yet, but we may hear good news anytime soon from the Sammy regarding it launch globally or in select markets.
