Like other J phones Galaxy J Max is affordable but the hardware it offers is far from something we can call impressive. The handset has 7-inch display with a pixel resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, means no crisp in watching videos on such a big screen. The Galaxy J Max comes with a meek quad-core 1.5 GHz processor, 1.5 GB RAM, and 16 GB native memory expandable via microSD. The rest of the specs include LTE connectivity, dual SIM support, an 8 MP rear camera, 4000mAh battery, and boots Android 5.1 Lollipop. The much battery is not needed as there is nothing on panel that needs such a heavy power. Everything is simple and could be run with a simple battery life of 2000-2500mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy J Max will sell in India later this month and will be priced at ($200) INR.13,400 off contract. Currently, there is no news on Galaxy J Max going global.
