Philips has so far managed to keep a low profile in the smartphone industry lately. As a matter of fact, the Dutch company last released an Android smartphone at the end of 2015.
This is going to be changed soon however, as the company is going to release Philips S310X soon after it has got the passing certificate from Chinese certification authority, i.e. TENNA.
Although we can expect an immediate release, but TENNA’s testing of smartphone on Marshmallow 6.0 shows a rather traditional or unorthodox step being taken by Philips.
What we have known so far about Philips S310X specifications is that it will have 1GB, 2GB and 3GB RAM with 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB storage, respectively. The phone will be powered by 2000mAh battery and quad-core chipset running on the 1.25 GHz. The primary camera will be 8MP and selfie camera will be 2MP. The smartphone will also give option of up to 32GB external storage.
