Over 82 billion apps installed from Google Play (2016)

Google has recently revealed that in 2016 more than 82 billion apps have been installed from its Play Store, up from the 65 billion mark reported for 2015.The VP of Engineering for Android, Dave Burke, made this revelation at the Google’s ongoing I/O conference.

Apart from this, he also talked about Android Wear. A total of 24 manufactures have committed to Google’s wearable platform, he mentioned. In addition, he also expressed that Android Auto – in-car infotainment platform by Google – will be available in Audi cars pretty soon too.
