The camera centric Oppo R9 and R9 Plus will get unveiled on March 17. The date has been made official by the company.
Very recently both handsets got TENNA certification. The have been discovered to come with all-metal bodies and AMOLED screens. The R9 will come with a 5.5-inch screen while the bigger sibling will come with 6-inch screen. Both will run on octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB native storage. The devices will boot Android 5.1 Lollipop upon launch.
It will have a whopping 16MP camera for front and back, indeed meaning, 16 MP Selfies. However, it is not clear whether the sensor-shift image stabilization tech showcased in MWC will also be featured in handsets.
R9 will be powered by VOOC rapid charge of 2,850mAh and R9 Plus will be driven by 4,120mAh battery.
