Oppo R5 is definitely an eye-catcher in Oppo smartphone’s line. The razor thin, high-end device is expected to release on February 14, 2015. With the Valentine’s approaching this is sure to be premium purchase if given to a loved one and might earn its self-proclaimed title – “the iPhone 6 killer”.Another big turn in events is the new gilded version that is rumored to happen the same day. Changes of gold finish on 3.85mm rim have been made. With this new look Oppo will hopefully make shoppers to rush towards R5 and also hopes that they might get away from Apple’s offers. The rest of the phone will be the same. R5 features Snapdragon 615 chipset where four are clocked at 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 cores and another four at 1GHz with a new generation Adreno 405. It packs 5.2″ Super AMOLED screen of 1080p resolution. In camera department, it covers a 13MP rear camera anda 5MP selfie shooter. Further, the device is LTE enabled and will run Android 5.0 Lollipop. The price of the gold version is yet unknown while the regular version will cost you €399 and judging from pricing in China, the gilded version might cost around €30 more.
