Making a decision for your next android phone by relying on future updates is a risky choice. Same applies for OnePlus 2 latest update, the company just said that the new phone won’t be having Android 7.0 Nougat in it. Although, company claimed high in the start to get the upgrade but now not-to news confirmed by the Android Authority.

OnePlus 2 Smartphone Devoid of Android 7.0 Nougat

Reason for not updating cited to be the issues of the firm with the software department. After OnePlus 2 launch, company cut off ties with Cyanogen and lead to its own team to launch the Android version. That is why the OnePlus 2 suffered the most from the decision. OnePlus company reaffirming OxygenOS to be integrated in update process of its all future flagship smartphones.

Android O would be inside OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T, also confirmed by the company.

Not getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update might be a disappointment for its users but it could be a sign to switch it with the latest flagship phone.
