There have been few reports from European agencies that HMD Global is planning to release the 3G version of Nokia 3310 by the end of September or beginning or October this year.

An Irish carrier has also confirmed that it will be selling 3G version of Nokia 3310 by the end of this year, which further confirms our sources’ claim that Nokia 3310 is coming in 3G-powered technology as well.

The 3G version of Nokia 3310 was also spotted last month in the website of FCC, i.e. Federal Communications Commission. This gave us the idea that after release of this feature phone worldwide except few countries, the 3G version will now be on sale in USA soon as well.

The currently available version of Nokia 3310 is not yet offering 3G support, which is the main reason for low sales for this dumb phone. On the other hand, many critics believe that the Nokia 3310 must have been supported by 3G, which could have increase its sales. So let us see how the new variant of this phone is perceived by people.
