Ericsson is a multinational telecommunication company based in Stockholm, Sweden. It has been recently forecasted by Ericsson that by the end of 2022 there would be 2.6 billion new mobile broadband users.According to the latest statistics there is highest sale recorded since 2013 which is due to the growth of mobile data usage all over the world.

More than 2.5 billion mobile broadband users expected by 2022 forecasted by Ericsson

Ericsson chief strategy officer and the head of technology Niklas Heuveldop said “The Ericsson mobility report truly indicates the progress in the industry and 4G users are also increasing faster than the previous years.

I am very excited that the industry is progressing which also includes the approval of the Non standalone 5G new radio which validates the 5G expansion. This will lead to more than 0.5 billion 5G users which will cover 15% by the year 2022.
