Last Thursday, Xiaomi announced Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite smartphones. It was their first-ever flash sale yesterday, and as per reports, there were more than 150,000 units of these two models sold in just three minutes. The Managing Director of Xiaomi India Mr. Manu Kumar Jain confirmed this information.

Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite are the two extremely affordable smartphones released by Xiaomi for Indian market, and both are great selfie camera phones. This is because Redmi Y1 1has got 16MP camera as well as the LED flash on its front side. It has also got dual SIM option as well as microSD slot for storage expansion.

Moreover, the price of Redmi Y1 in India is INR 8,999 for 3GB RAM version and INR 10,999 for 4GB RAM version. On the other hand, the Redmi Y1 Lite price in India is INR 6,999, and it will come with the 5MP selfie camera.

Lastly, the next flash sale of these two smartphones will begin from 15^th November, at 12PM Indian Standard Time. It will be available both on Amazon India and Xiaomi’s official Indian website.
