Powerful performance and the immaculate design aren’t the factors associated to flagship mobile phones anymore because Qualcomm new chip Snapdragon 636 would not only boost the performance in mid-range mobile phones but also it would be best for ultra wide smart screens.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 would be the successor of Snapdragon 630 which would bring FHD+ support i.e. 2160×1080 resolution. This resolution in mid-range mobiles would let them compete with flagship handsets like Huawei Mate 10 Pro and LG G6.

Best part of the upcoming chipset is ‘Assertive Display technology’; it would optimize the visibility of mobile screen in any sort of light conditions.

Processing power of the handsets would improve to 40% because the new chipset would have Kryo 260 CPU. Adreno 509 GPU would give additional 10% boost for gaming and graphics appeal in less expensive mobile phones.

Good news is manufacturers don’t have to wait for long as Qualcomm would ship Snapdragon 636 by next month
