Microsoft has recently announced Lumia 640 and 640 XL in the just passed MWC 2015. Both smartphones are now up for pre-order in UK. The 640 is currently priced at £170 and the Lumia 640 XL is priced at £219. The smartphones will ship starting from April 28 and onwards. The 640XL has been recently made available for pre-order in Germany. The Lumia 640 comes with a 5-inch HD LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Further, it runs Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC with 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU and 1 GB RAM. It also packs 8 GB of expandable storage. Camera-wise, it has 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 1MP front camera. It is powered by 2,500mAh battery. Microsoft Lumia 640 XL packs 5.7″ HD LCD screen with ClearBlack technology and runs Snapdragon SoC as the Lumia 640. Camera-wise, it has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies. It beats on a 1 GB RAM and 8 GB expandable storage. The device is powered by a 3,000mAh battery.
