In October 2015, Microsoft announced that Windows 10 will start rolling out to older devices by the end of December. However, this did not happen clearly. Later on the company decided to roll out Windows 10 in early 2016.There is no news on the update since then. There were few reports purporting that some handsets are receiving the update, moreover, a French carrier also announced the roll out will start in January, later saying that it might get delayed till next month.
As per new report Microsoft has verified delay in update to its partners. Also, the monthly service update for its Lumia 950 and 950 XL flagship smartphones is also being pushed back by the company right now. Both updates are likely to get rolled out in the mid of February timeframe.
Hopefully by then, there will be no further delays.
