After the disappointing sales of LG G5, LG is trying to introduce more affordable and mid-range handsets to its portfolio. That’s is why it has launched its X series which includes offering like LG X cam, LG X screen, LG X power, LG X mach, LG X max, and LG X style. The newest additions to the lineup are called the LG X5 and the LG X skin.
The LG X5 runs on 1.3GHz Quad-core powering a 5.5-inch with a pixel resolution of 720 x 1280p. It has a 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory expandable via microSD. Camera-wise, it has a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front facer. Connectivity options include LTE, NFC, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 b, g, n). The LG X5 gets its life from 2800mAh juicer.
The LG X skin has the same CPU running the 5-inch display with pixel resolution of 720 x 1280. It has 1.5GB RAM and 16GB expandable ROM. Camera options include 8MP rear and 5MP front. Connectivity options include all the same as X5 except USB 2.1. The X skin is powered by 2100mAh battery.
Both X5 and X skin boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Currently, these are for sale in local market (South Korea) and there is no news on global availability yet. The LG X5 and X skin is priced at $200 and $175 (as per current exchange rates), respectively, in South Korea.
