Design

It is beautifully designed with 5.7 inch display. LG has done a great job of trimming down the bezels surrounding the screen. It has a Gorilla Glass covering and the good thing is that you get the same covering around the back of LG G6 too. The camera lenses are flushed with the surface too which gives a clean finish and prevent it from damage if dropped.

The metal edging is sandwiched between the two glass layers. The battery is fixed inside and is not removable. The phone is full water resistant with IP68 rating. You can dip it in water for half an hour and nothing will happen to it. It comes in silver, black and white color.

Screen and media

Its screen is 5.7 inch with FullVision display with sharp QHD + resolution which helps to craft better images.  It has a app scaling mode which can be used to zoom in and fill the whole display. LG G6 has HDR support with Dolby Vision video which makes detailed images.

OS

It comes with the latest Android Nougat and runs two apps side by side with the split screen mode.  You still have LG Health app for tracking your daily steps and mini workouts. QuickMemo+ can be used to write short notes. You get a 64GB storage which is also expandable via microSD too.

Performance and battery life

It has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 processor. Games Play perfectly on it with copper heat pipes inside it which helps to stream heat out of the device. It has a 3300mAh battery which gives 36 hours of regular use between charges which means that you can get from the morning of day one to bedtime of day one to bedtime of day two without plugging it in.

The LG G6 also charges quite quickly using Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 tech. Half an hour at the plug gives you a good few hours of operation while an extra hour charges the phone to full.

Camera

Pros:

  • Gorgeous Dolby Vision screen
  • Solid battery life
  • Flexible camera tech
  • Sleek design

 Cons:

  • High price

 Conclusion

The LG G6 is the flagship of 2017 which has good specs but the price is high. Now after the launch of Samsung Galaxy S8 people are more attracted towards the edge display which will give other manufacturers a big competition.
