Later this month, we will see LG unveiling LG G6 as the flagship model at MWC 2017. This handset is a fair departure from the design LG G5 introduced last year. Moreover, some trademarks also purported that the device will have some lighter versions coming up.
It has been recently reported that few G6 smartphone names were unwrapped via trademarks, including: G6 Compact, G6 Lite, G6 Hybrid, G6 Prix, G6 Forte, G6 Fit, G6 Young, and G6 Sense.
It is noteworthy that not all the names being trademarked by companies end up in real product. However, LG has a history of launching products around its flagship handset that are usually cheaper versions, including the LG G5 SE, LG G3 s (essentially a mini G3), or the LG G Pro Lite.
As far as the LG G6 is concerned, it should be water-resistant carrying Snapdragon 821 CPU which supports a rather hefty screen of 5.7-inch with a pixel resolution of 1440 x 2880. A Lite version could have the same screen with a lite processor, while the compact version will have smaller screen. However, these are speculations. We still have to learn more in coming days, so Stay tuned for full scoop on it.
