It may be competitive stunt but LG has recently announced that it G5 will launch on February 21. This is another device that adds to this day’s unveilings apart from Galaxy S7. Afterwards, the two devices will be showcased at MWC 2016 the following day. 

LG confirms G5 launch to be held on February 21.

The South Korean Company has made it official via various social media channels saying that official announcement  of device will take place just one day before MWC.

The interesting part is both LG and Samsung will announce their devices on same day. If you are still not aware, an LG executive gave a challenge in his interview that LG “is ready to take on Samsung” this year.
