Apple can now get rid of fingerprint sensor from the front if the company is actually planning to launch 3D scanning. This would help in achieving bezel less display, which is trending in most of the smartphones.

Rumors tell that Apple will have the fingerprint sensor below the display glass. Idea is great but until the right execution, we can’t say for sure. On the contrary, 3D depth perception is what makes Apple different from Samsung.
