Huawei Mate 9 is the flagship handset by Huawei which is likely to launch on November 3 at an unpacked event in Munich. The manufacturer also confirmed that this event is going to unveil something very special.

The latest rumors include that Mate 9 will bring a 5.9-inch display with a pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920. Powering the handset will be Kirin 960 chipset (home-brewed by Huawei), and runs on 4GB/6GB of RAM with a whopping and latest capacity of 256GB of native storage on board.

It will have a dual camera setup (20MP + 12MP) with Leica lens, and an aperture of f/2.0. The handset comes with Android Nougat skinned with Huawei’s Emotion UI 5. The rumors do not include battery capacity but does tell it will be a rapid charging battery. Under the dual camera set up there is a fingerprint sensor as well.

Last month a promo revealed a variant of Mate 9 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. This variant will come in three color options costing $480-$510 USD, while the Mate 9 with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory is likely to sell in five colors for $585 USD. The premium Huawei Mate 9 with 6GB/256GB of memory configuration will set you back for $705 USD. This version will come in six color options.
