Huawei demand in America and Europe surges.

As per research witnessed by Gartner last quarter the growth year-on-year fell by 3.9 percent with tech giants like Samsung and Apple being the major hit due to increasing saturation and introduction of more inexpensive technologies in counter regions.

No doubt the sales of Samsung witnessed increase but its market share fell down to 23.2 percent. Apple is also down both in terms of sales and share- the latter being down to 14.8 percent from 17.9 percent.

The third and fourth contenders – Huawei and Oppo – are enjoying considerable growth with Xiaomi at the fifth but bit static. The Chinese OEMs are performing well on year-on-year growth trends eating up the flesh of big fish and making its own space. Huawei share rose to 8.3 percent not only because of it sales in Asian region but also due to much improved market in Europe and America.

Oppo is also setting foot firmly in these regions. Lenovo, however, lost its path midway and is currently hanging to be no one’s wanted. However, the Android and iOS fight is yet not over with other platforms coming in like Tizen.
