This is the first time in Pakistan a company is planning to build its own manufacturing facility for mobile phones. CEO of Ruby Energy and Haier, Shah Faisal, confirmed this while talking to GEO news. This aims at creating employment opportunities for people of Pakistan. More than 800 people are expected to be recruited for the project. He further added that government should seriously consider such initiatives and support the local mobile phone industry.
