Google has now added a much awaited feature to its Google Map. Add a stop will allow you to stop along the current path. That enables you to stop at restaurant and gas stations before final destination. Before that this feature was only rolled out to Android users but now it is available for iOS users.“The feature was already live on Android, but is rolling out to iOS users worldwide.”

You might wonder what took google so long to introduce this feature if it is already in use by many android users and has a favorable application. The new add to stop is easy to use. The first thing is to turn on the navigation mode. You will see a magnifier at the top right of screen which provides variety of options for the places to stop such as restaurant and gas stations. In order to be more efficient and safe, you can use voice option to navigate instead of typing.

Google maps will also tell you the time for different routes for the same destination thus saving your time to reach through one of them.
