GCI is one of the leading IT service providers having office in the London and Glasgow. This is the company’s first and also the largest acquisition in the last 18 months, and it is with the IT service provider Blue Chip.

GCI – a London-based IT Company, Crosses £100m Turnover

The acquisition was announced on July 3, and it is now the largest IT service provider in the UK.

There are 500 employees, and due to the Blue Chip purchase the annual turnover has £100 million. Blue Chip has 25 years of experience in IT, and they support SME through Merlin Entertainments, Sunseeker, Lush, Jack Wills and River Island, and it employs more than 180 personnel.

CEO of GCI Adrian Thirkill who has over 20 years of experience which were held at Phoenix, COLT and most recently Easynet Global Services. He said in a conference that “We are very happy with our latest acquisition with Blue Chip and previously we have acquisitioned before were Outsourcery and Freedom which you all know were a great success.”
