We have previously published a review on Galaxy S6 which might not be much different than what we will going to write now for S6 Edge. This is first dual edge smartphone launched so far. The good part is the edge that matters and for this reason it has been given title of Best handset of 2015 in current MWC. But definitely one spec may not contribute all to what Samsung has brought to market. The S6 Edge is relatively thicker (7mm vs 6.8mm), relatively lighter (132g vs 138g) and is powered by a relatively bigger battery of 2600mAh against 2550mAh in Galaxy S6. This is all where the alteration comes in.
This comes in three storage versions. The 32GB will cost $1030, the 64GB will cost $1120 and 128GB will cost $1180. The disappointments are similar to those in S6; no microSD card slot and non-removable battery due to slim unibody metal design. Also it is not dust and water poof but this shortcoming can be swallowed with little hesitation.
Samsung is charging $100 above for the S6 edge which is frequently inquired by many analyst for being justifiable or not. S6 runs on Exynos 7420 chipset with octa-core processor and four Cortex-A57 cores ticking at 2.1GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.5GHz. An octa-core Mali-T760 GPU for graphics and 3GB of RAM. The Galaxy S6 is enriched with 16 MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and a wide f/1.9 aperture. The 5MP selfie camera also got an f/1.9 aperture for low-light conditions.
