LG has started a new promotional campaign before the launch of LG G4. Four thousand trial units will be distributed among the potential buyers in fifteen select countries to make the device undergo testing phase. LG has started the testing program Live in Korea and will soon launch the campaign in Turkey, Indonesia, Singapore, United States, China, India, Brazil, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Mexico, Japan, and Hong Kong.The usual practice for such campaigns is to send the devices to media houses and individual to test it and give feedback before it launches. According to standard procedure the person signs NDA so that the mobile and its info may not get unveiled before launch. In LG’s case about 4000 participants will do the job on official website or through social media channels. The applicants can go ahead to post about it on social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and Weibo. Then LG will let them test the phone for 30 days and give them various assignments to be completed during the trial.
