We already know that there are cameras that capture 360-degree or spherical photo and clips. It seems, it is just the time that the social media channels should start supporting 360-degree images and clips as well. According to a blogpost on Oculus website, Facebook is looking to adding 360-shots to its news feed directly.
It is evident that you can do it even without 360-degree cameras as the new spherical panoramic features of various smartphones are quite in use that help you to capture photospheres. More importantly, the VR goggles are becoming popular that may also add a twist to the picture. So now Facebook will allow you to turn pictures into virtual shots and bring it to 360-degree capture.
Users can look for the 360-degree photos in their phone by turning the phone or by dragging the finger across the display. It is yet not clear that whether Facebook will also reveal its rumored photography app to make this feature more workable.
