
It’s been about six months since the release of Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, so let’s dig into the market stats and see how well the duo is doing.
In case of US market, S8 and S8+ hold a combined market share of 5.8%, which is still about half of what S7 Generation phones currently have. Market share for older S5 is currently 4.6%.
In case of Canada, S7 duo has total share of 12.6%, whereas S8 duo has the total share of 5%. So, in case of both the countries, S7 ranks at the top.
Similarly, in the UK, S7 remains at the top, as its total market share was 15.4% as compared to the S8 duo, which has 6% share. S8 and S8+ have 3.1% and 1.9% share respectively in case of Germany. Moreover, S8 smartphone has so far been very popular in case of Switzerland for having 8.6% share, whereas Sweden and Norway both give 6.8% each to S8 phones.
