The entry-level Panasonic P9 has been officially announced by the company in India today. The price upon release is just $98, which is about INR 6,290 in India. The phone has also been made available for sales in retail stores across India.
Since Panasonic P9 is an entry-level device, hence its specifications are not that exciting. The smartphone has 5-inch IPS display and has a resolution of 854 x 480. It is protected by Asahi Dragnglass. Furthermore, it is powered by the quad-core 1.1GHz MediaTek MT6737M processor and will be running on 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which is subject to expansion through microSD card.
The smartphone would also have 8MP main camera as well as a 5MP camera on the front. It will come with Android 7.0 Nougat. Additionally, it will have 2,210mAh battery. Lastly, it will be available in two colors, i.e. black and champagne gold.
