The Galaxy S5 will be receiving the 5.0.2 Lollipop update very soon as it is rolling out early this month. The Australian carrier Optus on its website spilled the beans yesterday.

Galaxy S5 now receiving 5.0.2 Lollipop update

The noteworthy revelation in the Optus mentioned June time while the update was being tested. The testing is complete now. The update is expected to bring bug fixes as well as performance tweaks.

This started a week after the South Korean company said that it would roll out micro-updates fix Lollipop update issues. However, there is no word on whether or if other Samsung devices that have been updated to Lollipop will get the same update.
