Few tips for your interest:

Instead of directly controlling character to guide it to the exit in each stage, you can alter the world and you’ll do it by slicing a giant gash into it. After swiping in your split, you can shift either side of the world so that formerly separate pathways are now one, or so that obstacles that once blocked your creatures are no longer a threat. Either by chopping up the world, you can effectively cut and paste together a new layout that gets your little aliens to their escape ship.

Use of the “undo” button! It’s not just for mistakes. It’s a mechanic that helps you minimize the number of cuts you make, since you are limited. Some puzzles are designed specifically around using the undo button, so make it a habit. To zoom or move camera you can do so using your two fingers to manage trickier levels. Yello aliens walks straight and stops only due to wall and monter will eat them so they are easy to manage then the yello critters. Red and blue behave similarly and they can kill monster. Critters can swim and can die by hitting spike.
